Gracie's not a fan of Santa

The pictures are in the opposite order of being taken, the one just above this writing was the first picture and the top picture was the last one taken. I think it helps to know...as you can see her look of terror diminishes throughout the pictures. :)

Earlier this week, Gracie and I went to a Parents as Teachers event where we made Christmas crafts. Santa Claus came and as you can see, Gracie still does not like him much. She was fine when he was at a distance, but when it came to meeting him...no way! Not happening! :) Gracie also got a new book. It was a pretty fun little event. Grace enjoyed everything, but Santa.

End of Summer fun

Gracie was pretty tired on this zoo trip. This is the picture daddy took when I went to the bathroom. I asked him to take a picture of her by the colorful frogs and this is what I got. I thought he would actually take her out of the stroller but that's ok. It's kind of funny how tired she was and this was not long after we got to the zoo. It just takes us so long to get to the zoo, she gets tired in the car. The picture above is after being at the zoo for a few hours...she is much more peppy!

Gracie sliding down her new slide that Grandma Paula and Grandpa Greg got for her. She has had tons of fun with the slide. The first day I put it together she played on the slide for about 1 1/2 before she went inside. And by the way, she says "eeeeeeee" EVERY time she goes down the slide.

Gracie with her little car thing...I never know what to call this thing. She does like driving it around. She has started giving the car a few good pushes at the top of our driveway (there is a slight downward slant to our drive) and says "eeeeeeeeeee" all the way down!

It kind of feels like summer is over, according to the temperature, but we have tried over the past couple weeks to get in some fun activities...

First Haircut

Grace went tonight and got her bangs trimmed. She did a good job and seemed to enjoy it.

This is the before picture...under the smock is her juice pouch. She couldn't get her hands out from under the smock. She was working at it, though!

Tennessee in July...

This was actually at the end of our trip. We stopped and had a snack in front of the Superman statue. I was amazed at how many people came by while we were there. We were probably on there 20-30 minutes and five separate families showed up on a random Wednesday morning!

We had lots of fun and it was over too soon but here are a few pics of our trip to the zoo and playing in the pool!

4th of July

Gracie's grandpa Paul bought a fire truck for her and they made their debut in Hermann's 4th of July parade. Gracie didn't really know what to think of the fire truck and parade, but she did really well. We didn't have any tears or screams. She was actually still pretty tired. We had to wake her up out of a dead sleep to get her ready for the parade.

Fun in KC

Gracie and I went to Kansas City for my family reunion. We had a good time with the fam! As you can see, we had a good time with the cousins and curlers, too!
